The AGKBSS Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Navratri.

This is the tenth major festival within the Hindu Calendar for 2018.

Navratri (which translates as “Nine Nights”) is huge festival celebrated throughout India. Navratri signifies the triumph of good over evil (when Durga Ma killed Mahaishasur).

During Navratri, devotees worship Durga Ma through prayers and partake in dance such as “Garba” and “Dandiya”.

The festival is enjoyed by all age groups from youngsters to elderly members.
