The AGKBSS Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

This is the ninth major festival within the Hindu Calendar for 2018 following on from Krishna Janmashtami.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a ten-day Hindu festival celebrated to honour the elephant-headed God Ganesha’s birthday.

He is the younger son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He is honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies as he’s considered the God of beginnings and remover of obstacles.
